Welcome to the Recovery
WEB Site for Morris Lang
On
Monday, October 7, 2002 at 5:33PM my life, my wife
Audrey's life, (21 years of marriage), and my children's
lives changed forever. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
I had
a Glioblastoma
Multiforme - Grade IV (GBM4). The higher the grade, the more deadly
the tumor. There is no Grade 5. A GBM4 is the most deadly of all
brain tumors. Statistics and odds are not good, with only a 50%
chance of living 6 months and even poorer odds of living a year.
Yet, through the grace of Jesus Christ, I refuse to lose attitude
and with the tireless efforts of my very special wife Audrey,
I marked one year of survival this past October. This site
tracks
my treatment, my
recovery progress, and the lessons I have learned. If you would
like to follow my recovery, you can subscribe to my email list
and you will receive an email notification when the site is
updated.
You can also send
me email to mlang@lcsdg.com and/or
please feel free to call me at 936.560.5351.
The
menu item "The Journey" is
an account of significant events, "Lessons" describes
the lessons I have learned along the way, "Treatment" describes
the medicines and other treatments I have used, "The
Team" lists
my doctors and medical facilities, "Survivor Stories"
are stories of folks that are survivng cancer, and lastly,
''Links' generally points to new treatments
and research.
