An example of the Power of Prayer

I know a person that when he finds himself in difficult times recites the Lord ’s Prayer mentally. If he is nervous, he is calmed. If he is scared or worried he is comforted. If he is preparing to perform, his performance is made perfect.

As it turns out, this is no accident. Meditation research has shown each phrase of the Lord ’s Prayer invokes a specific response in human beings. The Lord’s Prayer is not simply a random set of words. It was designed for our species by someone who knows us best, our Creator.

Try it yourself next time when you find yourself in difficult times. As I understand, the Lord ’s Prayer is a gift from God, not from man.

Here’s a chart of how Edgar Cayce has determined the Lord ’s Prayer in bonded with our physical body:

“As I listened to the Lord ’s Prayer and became silent, a gentle rhythm swept through my body, and my two weeks of fatigue and stress were washed away by radiant energy.”
