Keeping Faith and Not Losing Focus Wednesday, July 02, 2003, was harder for me in the HBOT chamber than usual for I had a new lesson to learn. Lying on my back, I was more nervous than usual. I began to pat my left hand with my right hand, where I envisioned my right hand being the hand of Christ. See the lesson "Something New" for more detail. As I tried to calm myself, I began to think how difficult it must have been for Peter to begin walking on the water out to Jesus, and when he lost focus, how terrified he must have been when he began to sink. When I would grow tired of my imagining, and stop patting my left hand, I would get very nervous very quickly. As soon as I would regain my imaging and my focus and resume patting my left-hand, my nervousness would slowly subside and I knew I would be OK. I felt these words “Calm down Morris, you know I love you and I will take care of you”. I was given the lesson of keeping one’s faith and not losing focus. No doubt on my part, that I got through this HBOT session only by the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
