Can you answer these questions for me?

Picture yourself as me. It is the middle of the night. It is 2 AM. You wake up and cannot go back to sleep. In your heart, you recommit you body and soul to Christ to use as He sees fit. You are sleeping on a day bed in your computer room so your wife can sleep without being disturbed by your constant flopping around (paralyzed people flop around a bit at night) and getting up to go to the bathroom. The day bed is very comfortable and you normally sleep well there without any complaints. Again, the bed is very comfortable and the arrangement is a good solution. Click here for a picture of the day bed in my home office. While laying on your back comfortably in the day bed you can see a red chair at another computer desk. A night-light is plugged into a wall socket directly behind the chair and illuminates the edges of the chair. Click here for a picture of the red chair. You imagine Jesus sitting in that chair. Please understand, you are not having a vision. The vision of Jesus is only in your imagination. You control the image. You are not seeing things. You do not push for insight, or to develop a contrived conversation, as you envision the image of Jesus sitting in the chair. Yet, in your heart you pray, “Jesus, what is going to happen to me next? Are the HBO2 treatments working? Will they fix the RIN?” You realize you can pray for all kinds of scenarios (a wish list) you would like to see come true, but you choose not to. As soon as you decided not to pray for a wish list, you feel in these words in you heart:

"Morris, you know I love you. I have shown you this. You know I will always be right here with you. I have shown you this. You know I will take care of you and never leave you, I have shown you this as well. You know God’s Will be done and God’s plan for you will be done. Why do you need to know what’s next and why are you fretting so much? "

I have no valid answer to this question. Can you offer me an answer? Do you have any thoughts based on the question? Send any thoughts or comments to mlang@lcsdg.com. Use the subject “answer’” in your e-mail, so I can see categorize any replies easily.

Thank You, Morris
