A Dream - The Guide vs. The Teacher I rarely ever dream, perhaps I do dream but the details are lost when I wake. Bernie Seigel says, “GOD has our undivided attention when we sleep. As the remote control slips from our hand, HE may use that time to alert us to dangers, advise us of problems in our lives, give us direction or assure us. One night I did dream. I was at corporate Texaco headquarters in Houston, in 1974, my first programming job. I was new, but I was showing some other new programmers around. In an instance I was at SFA in Nacogdoches, Texas, my second job. Again, I was showing some new programmers around. Billy, my supervisor and my good friend at SFA, appeared and said “Remember Morris, you are the guide. You are not the teacher.” Using the content on this website, I can guide you to my lessons, but I cannot teach them to you. It is up to you to seek out your own teachers and learn from them. |
